Uninstructed Activities

Updated February 9, 2022

Please note there will be no “drop-ins” due to COVID variant influences. All “drop-ins” will be called "uninstructed activities" and follow COVID protocols until further notice (e.g. purchase a barcode with a designated timeslot for activity, masks are mandatory in the facility until further notice, and proof of vaccination required for entry, class sizes at reduced capacity).

Please see our Health and Safety Communique click on the link in blue to read.

What is the Mask Policy?

Following the provincial and municipal mandatory mask requirements, masks are mandatory in all indoor public spaces.

Face masks are required to enter the facility, and your mask must be secured over your nose and mouth. If any visitor refuses to wear a mask or face covering, they will not be permitted into the facility.

Masks will be required during physical activities; this includes during high and moderate activity classes, for all paddleball sports, and at the Fitness Centre.

Policies will be evaluated as the season continues, and adjustments may be made based feedback from players, and/or permissions from AHS and the City.

Thanks for sticking with us while we navigate these unprecedented times. Please send all inquiries for circles to Circles@CentralLions.org.

Enjoy an activity with “like-interested” people!  These informal activities are provided at low cost.

No instruction is provided and drop-in fee is collected by the activity coordinator.

Cuppa Corner

Temporarily%2520Suspended_edited_edited.

**Cuppa Corner is Suspended until further notice due to Covid-19**

This free activity is a social gathering hosted by the CLSA. However, donations are gratefully accepted (to pay for the coffee)! During Cuppa Corner hours, our community members come together to enjoy a beverage and the company of their peers while interacting and discussing the topics of the day. Each Cuppa Corner features an information table where you can learn about various services available to older adults in Edmonton.

Once a month we try to do a "special" Cuppa Corner with entertainment, unique treats and a "Pick-a-prize" fundraiser draw.
