At any of our partner centres (see our Become A Member page for reciprocal centres). Any CLSA member can register for programs offered at our partner centres, at the reciprocal centre member price. Our members must follow reciprocal centre registration protocol when signing up for those facility's programs. Remember to bring your CLSA membership card with you when registering at any reciprocal centre.
A comprehensive list of all the reciprocal centres is listed on our Become A Member page. Reciprocal members (ie. those with memberships at any of our reciprocal centres) must register IN PERSON at Central Lions Seniors Centre to qualify for the members' rates on our programs.Unfortunately, the online, telephone, and Recreation Centre registration options are not available to reciprocal members due to the nature of our registration system.
Registrations for reciprocal members are limited to our programs only. These members do not have access to registrations for CLSA clubs and some special events/outings. Drop-in activities do not require registration and therefore are open to reciprocal members.

General Registration Information and FAQ's
Payment and Registration Confirmation:
Program/club fees will be confirmed at the time of registration and must be paid in full. Participants are not considered registered until payment has been received.
If you register in person, a course confirmation will be provided. Otherwise, a confirmation will be mailed/emailed along with any additional program/club information.
Waitlisting: If the program in which you wish to register is full, you can be 'waitlisted'. If there is a cancellation, we will contact you and let you know that there is now room for you in the program. Our system tracks names in the order they were received. If there are sufficient names to run a second class, and the instructor is available, we will contact you with a new date and time.
What is the Late Registration Fee vs an Early Bird Fee?
Early registrations equal fewer cancellations and fewer disappointments. Help our staff determine which programs have sufficient participants to run. Program prices go up $10 two weeks prior to the start of each program. This means the price listed in the program guide goes up $10 if you register 14 or less days prior to the start of the program. Avoid a LATE FEE, be and EARLY BIRD and save!
What if my class is cancelled?
If it is necessary for CLSA to cancel a program, you will be notified prior to the program start date. In this situation, we will issue refunds or a credit to your account for use with future classes.
Classes are largely cancelled due to low enrollment. If you would like to avoid this disappointment, register early so we can ensure there are enough registrants to run the class.
Can I get a refund for a class, club, or presentation I can no longer take?
No refunds or credits are given for programs, presentations, club or Fitness Centre registrations unless cancelled by CLSA. Concerns may be forwarded (in writing) to the Executive Director for review and further action may be carried out pending approval. Exceptions are generally made for family emergencies and serious health concerns.
Can I cancel my registration in one class and transfer the funds to another?
Transfers to another program are permitted (subject to availability) without penalty at least 15 days prior to the program start date. A $10 administration fee will apply if a transfer is requested 14 days or less prior to the program start date or if the program has started. If applicable, any credit balance will be refunded.
I want to see what a class is like before I register...can I do that?
CLSA has a policy where, provided there is space available, any interested party can "check out" a program they are interested in without having registered. This allows you to see if the level and experience in the class meets your needs. If you decide to do this, please see our Front Desk first so we can ensure there is space in the class for you to attend. Following that, you will be required to inform the instructor of the program so they can jot your name down on their drop-in attendance sheet.
After you "check out" the class, if you want to join, you will be required to register for the program. You will have to do so IN PERSON at our registration desk as all other registration options will no longer be available after a class has started.

All participants (member/non-memeber) must sign a waiver and agree to abide by the CLSA Code of Conduct, before being permitted to take CLSA Programs.
