We provide a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone 55 and older to participate in recreation, education, social programs and events that enrich body, mind, and spirit.
CLSA is an independent, non-profit, charitable association formed in 1979. Our programs are available through registration and club fees, donations, and general fundraising. We rely on our generous and dedicated volunteers who support our efforts every step of the way.

With over 70,000 sq. feet of combined space Central Lions is an impressive facility housing an atrium, gymnasium, cafeteria, meeting rooms, and offices that support our programs, activities, and special events. Its bright, open spaces create a welcoming atmosphere and make it ideal for a wide variety of activities and functions.
Affordable activity, meeting, and social spaces – including a four-court gymnasium and a hardwood floored auditorium – can be booked (through the City of Edmonton) for evening and weekend use, by local groups, sports teams, clubs, and associations.
Our Code of Conduct
CLSA believes in creating a positive community and strives to maintain a respectful, friendly, and supportive environment for members, staff, instructors, volunteers, and guests. To that end, CLSA applies the following Code of Conduct:
Be protective of the safety, security, well-being, and goodwill of others and the Centre as a whole.
Refrain from participating in any action that seriously disrupts or disturbs the morale, efficiency, safety, or normal operations and activities of CLSA.
Conduct themselves in a respectful and responsible manner in all interactions with others. CLSA does not tolerate inappropriate, abusive, or undesirable language or behaviour.
Violations of this Code of Conduct will be dealt with in accordance with established CLSA procedures.
